Photographer and Mac expert Lloyd Chambers has posted a very informative review of Apple’s new Mac Book Air laptop. His review is worth a look for those of you who want a more portable computer for our Photo Essentials workshop or for reviewing a day’s work while traveling. The decision comes down to portability or power as he describes in his conclusion:
I don’t see the MacBook Air as a viable primary machine for a photographer or other graphics professional, but it will surely please any road warrior looking for more than an iPhone or iPad, but not a full-size laptop. For those purposes, I can highly recommend it, as it’s fun to use, and fits just about anywhere.
Check out his in-depth review for performance tests, recommended configurations, and comparisons to other mac laptops.
