We have seen fantastic work coming through The Image Flow this year. Come take a look at some of our favorites!

We are getting ready for our 3rd Annual Group Exhibition. The images are being framed and Stuart and Matt are working on curating the show. We are so excited about the images we are showing this year, and are proud of our students’ work!

The exhibit includes about 25 photographers, ranging from amateurs to professionals. The styles range from documentary to landscape, and include color and black and white prints.

I asked a few of the photographer’s about their photos. Here are some of their stories:

My work is based in the natural world and these images focus on my favorite element—water. I like my images to suggest rather than to define,” says Kimberley Harmon. Kimberley has been shooting for over 40 years. She studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, the San Francisco Academy of Art and with Rodney Smith and Jay Maisel in New York. More of her work can be seen at her show here in Mill Valley. For more info click here. (One-on-one printing)

Ann Buscho is a self-described photography hobbyist. Her image of a Hippopotamus was taken in Kafue National Park in Zambia. Matt was instrumental in helping her cull down over 6000 images she took in Africa, and help her find a few true gems. (Classes include Photo Essentials I and II, Documentary and Composition)

Michael Dyett learned about photography from his father, who was a professional photographer in the 1930s, and from Jay Maisel, an award winning commercial and editorial photographer. Dyett’s image in the show was taken at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco on a field shoot with instructor, Jeff Zaruba. (Classes include Urban Landscape, Photo essentials I and II)

 Stayed tuned for more stories…..

Opening night festivities start at 6:30 on December 8th!

The show will be up for at least a month, so even if you can’t make the opening, come on by and take a look. The Image Flow is open Monday – Friday, 10-6 , Saturday 10-4.
