Then Learn the power of Adobe Photoshop Elements® to adjust color, contast and more. Students will have weekly assignments and critiques of their work. Participants must have a passion for photography, a digital camera with manual controls (SLR or point-n-shoot) and a portable computer with Adobe Photoshop Elements® 10 or later installed (must be compatible with your camera’s RAW files).

Photo Essentials 1: DSLR + RAW

Develop your passion for photography! Learn to take control of your camera. Join us for hands-on photography and Camera Raw processing, in-the-field shooting, and critical review of work produced. Learn to take your camera off automatic mode and make the most of the manual adjustments. Students will have weekly assignments and critiques of their work. Participants must have a passion for photography, a digital SLR camera and a portable computer with Adobe® Photoshop® CS4-CS6 or Lightroom® installed (must be compatible with your camera’s RAW files). Date & time for the one location shoot will be decided in class.

Photo Essentials 2: Photo Project + Photoshop CS

Push your camera and digital darkroom skills to the next level. Join us for hands-on work with Adobe® Photoshop® CS5, in-the-field shooting, and critical review of work produced. After a review of manual shooting and camera settings, we will get right into advanced Camera Raw processing and advanced layer masking in Photoshop CS®. Students will have weekly assignments and critiques of their work. Participants must have a digital SLR camera, a basic understanding of RAW processing and file management, intermediate computer skills, and a portable computer with Adobe® Photoshop® CS4-CS6 installed. Date & time for the one location shoot will be decided in class.

Adobe Lightroom® Start to Finish

manual photography workshopLearn to create a professional workflow, use powerful yet simple image editing tools, and share your final photographs with one comprehensive program. In this workshop we will cover Adobe Photoshop Lightroom® from start to finish inlcluding importing, file storage, organizational techniques, creative image processing, batch editing, and web gallery creation. This program combines key digital photography tools into one fast and efficient application. Students must have RAW shooting capabilites, but no prior experience in RAW processing is neccessary.
