Introduction to Lighting
$225 Thursdays April 4 – 25, 2-4 PM
In this introductory lighting class, we will explore the many different types of lighting used in photography: from working with available light to more advanced studio set-ups. We will discuss and work through lighting optimization, creating the best possible lighting through the use of diffusers, reflectors, and flags. Students will be familiarized with both portrait and still life lighting schemes.

Instructor Bio: After graduating from Art Center in 1979, Stuart Schwartz spent 35 years as an advertising photograher both in the US and Europe. Through extensive practice behind every format of camera and in countless shooting situations, Stuart brings invaluable knowledge and experience to his clients.
